TIG Welder / Fabricator (Aluminium & Stainless Steel)

Location: Normanton, West Yorkshire (WF6)

Salary: £22.00 per hour

Shift: Permanent Afternoons – 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Overtime: Regular overtime available

Our client is a well-established and growing precision sheet metal and fabrication specialist, supplying high-quality components and assemblies to a wide range of industries. Operating from a modern manufacturing facility in Normanton, they are known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and craftsmanship.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit two skilled TIG Welders to join the fabrication team on a permanent afternoon shift.

The successful candidates will primarily be responsible for TIG welding thin gauge aluminium and stainless steel sheet metal components, producing high-quality work to engineering drawings and customer specifications. Some MIG welding may also be required as part of the role.

• TIG welding aluminium and stainless steel sheet metal components.

• Occasional MIG welding where required.
\n
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
\n
• Fabricating and assembling components to tight tolerances.
\n
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained.
\n
• Working safely and efficiently within a busy fabrication environment.

We would like to hear from candidates who have:

• Proven TIG welding experience within a fabrication or sheet metal environment.
\n
• Experience working with aluminium and/or stainless steel.
\n
• The ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
\n
• A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
\n
• Relevant welding qualifications (advantageous but not essential for experienced candidates).
\n
• Experience with MIG welding would be beneficial.
\n
