Hours: Part timeReference: RQ0000554As part of the Domestic Operations team, you will join a small team of Cleaning Team Leaders, playing a key role in maintaining high cleaning standards across the College.
Key responsibilities include:\n
\n - Providing guidance and ensuring tasks are completed to the required standards and within agreed timeframes
\n - Responding to operational priorities
\n - Carrying out quality checks and monitoring cleaning performance, addressing any issues promptly
\n - Reporting defects, maintenance issues or health and safety concerns, ensuring appropriate follow-up action is taken
\n - Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures, safe working practices and COSHH requirements
\n - Maintaining stock control and ensuring equipment and cleaning materials are used correctly and safely
\n
You will also be required to undertake cleaning duties on a daily basis, including (but not limited to) classrooms, offices, boarding houses and bedrooms.This is a multi-site role, primarily based at Malvern College. You may occasionally be required to work at The Downs Malvern.
Hours of Work\n
\n - 30 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
\n - The role operates on a 5 days over 7 basis, requiring flexibility in working hours, including occasional weekend working
\n - Where weekend work is required, time off in lieu will be provided during the week or paid at the flat rate
\n
You will have:\n
\n - A full, valid driving licence, as the role involves transporting equipment across site
\n - Previous experience in a cleaning environment would be desirable.
\n - A proactive, “can-do” attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
\n - Good understanding of health and safety practices within a cleaning environment
\n - Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
\n - A professional, polite and approachable manner
\n - Good time management skills and flexibility in working hours
