\nWe are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a growing specialist business supplying and supporting food processing and packaging machinery across the UK.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an electrically or mechanically biased engineer looking to develop their skills working with a wide range of food manufacturing equipment. In return, you'll receive a competitive salary of £30,000 plus door-to-door pay, ongoing training, and the opportunity to work with industry-leading machinery.
The Role\nAs a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and repair of food processing and packaging equipment at customer sites nationwide.

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs

Installing and commissioning new machinery
\n - \n
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
\n - \n
Providing technical support and advice to customers
\n - \n
Completing service reports and documentation
\n - \n
Ensuring work is carried out safely and to a high standard
\n - \n
Building strong relationships with customers and representing the business professionally
\n

Previous experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or similar
\n - \n
Electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills
\n - \n
Experience working on manufacturing, packaging, processing, or industrial machinery
\n - \n
Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-facing skills
\n - \n
Full UK driving licence
\n - \n
Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required
\n

Food processing or packaging machinery experience

PLC fault-finding knowledge
\n - \n
Electrical qualifications or engineering apprenticeship
\n - \n
Experience with conveyors, filling machines, packaging equipment, or automated production lines
