We are looking for experienced and passionate Complex Care Nurse Consultants to join our growing Clinical & Complex Care at Home Team. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled nurses who are dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex healthcare needs in their own homes.

As a Complex Care Nurse Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, supporting service users to live safely and independently while leading and developing care teams.

Key Responsibilities

    \n
  • Deliver and oversee complex clinical care for service users within their own homes.
  • \n
  • Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and develop person-centred care plans.
  • \n
  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to care staff.
  • \n
  • Undertake competency assessments and clinical training for support workers.
  • \n
  • Monitor and review care packages to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with families, multidisciplinary teams, and healthcare professionals.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
  • \n

Requirements

\n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

\n
    \n
  • Current NMC Registration (Adult, Children's or Learning Disabilities Nurse).
  • \n
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with complex healthcare needs.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of complex clinical interventions, including:\n
      \n
    • PEG feeding
    • \n
    • Tracheostomy care
    • \n
    • Stoma care
    • \n
    • Ventilation support (desirable)
    • \n
    • Catheter care
    • \n
    • Medication administration
    • \n
  • \n
  • Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • \n
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
  • \n
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable, depending on location).
  • \n
