Recycling and Sorting Operative

Taskmaster Recruitment are looking for a Recycling and Sorting Operative to work for our client based at their site in Warboys, Huntingdon.

Duties will include:

• Sorting household and commercial waste from a pick line into plastic, wood, brick, metals.
\n
• Use machinery to feed recycling waste for processing.
\n
• Inspect materials for any contaminations.
\n
• Clean and maintain equipment.
\n
• Meet the requirements of audits and cleaning specifications.
\n
• Ensure the correct protective equipment is correctly worn at all times.
\n
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards of health and safety.
\n

Desirable skills and attributes:

• Being physically fit for this role is essential.
\n
• Able to use own initiative.
\n
• Must be able to work with noise and dust.
\n
• Organised and able to manage their own time effectively.
\n
• Follow health and safety rules.
\n
• Works harmoniously with others to get the job done.
\n

Temporary to permanent job for the right candidate.

Shift: Monday to Friday: 07.00 – 17.30 plus overtime is available at an increased rate of pay.

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour
