Job Description
Financial Adviser – High Net Worth Clients, Salary up to £70,000
\nIndependent, Manager-Owned IFA Firm | Whole of Market
\nAre you an experienced IFA looking to step into a ready-built book of high-net-worth clients — without the cold calls, without the corporate politics, and without compromising on how you work?
\nThis is a rare opening at a genuinely independent, manager-owned IFA firm built on trust, integrity, and doing right by clients. No shareholder pressure. No sales targets dressed up as "goals." Just excellent financial planning, a team that has your back, and clients who stay for life.
\n\nAbout the Firm
\n- \n
- The firm grows by acquiring established IFA practices — giving clients continuity of care and giving advisers like you a warm, relationship-ready book to inherit. \n
- With over £500 million in assets under management, the firm has earned its reputation the hard way: through referrals, long-term relationships, and an uncompromising commitment to ethical, whole-of-market advice. Growth here is organic. Culture here is real. \n
The Opportunity
\n- \n
- Salary up to £70,000 | Bonus up to £20,000 | Hybrid Working \n
- You'll take ownership of a fully serviced book of 75–90 high-net-worth client households, many holding portfolios in excess of £1 million. These clients are already advised, already engaged, and already trusting — your job is to deepen those relationships and deliver the kind of holistic financial planning that genuinely changes lives. \n
- You won't be doing this alone. A dedicated paraplanning and administrative support team handles the back office, freeing you to focus on what you do best: advising clients and building trust. \n
What You'll Do
\n- \n
- Take over and manage an established HNW client book built through retirement-led business succession \n
- Deliver comprehensive financial planning across pensions, investments, tax planning and estate strategies \n
- Build long-term, trusted relationships grounded in ethical, goals-based advice \n
- Work collaboratively within an adviser pod alongside paraplanners, administrators and compliance professionals \n
- Liaise with solicitors, accountants and other external specialists on complex client cases \n
- Contribute positively to a firm culture where people genuinely enjoy coming to work \n
Why This Role Stands Out
\n- \n
- Truly independent — whole-of-market, manager-owned, no restricted panels or product bias \n
- Complex, rewarding work — clients with real financial complexity and assets to match \n
- Full back-office support — more time with clients, less time on admin \n
- Transparent remuneration — competitive base, annual bonus up to £20k, and a clear fee-split model \n
- Genuine hybrid working — flexibility at home balanced with a collaborative team environment \n
- Long-term career growth — as the firm continues acquiring practices, your book can grow with it \n
What We're Looking For
\n- \n
- Qualified Financial Adviser or Financial Planner with meaningful HNW client experience \n
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (CII, LIBF or equivalent) — Chartered status is a bonus, not a barrier \n
- A natural relationship-builder who puts client outcomes ahead of everything else \n
- Someone who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and respects the people around them \n
- Confident with cashflow modelling software \n
- Commercially aware, but values-led first \n
