\nThe Role
\nAs a CNC Machinist, you'll be responsible for setting up, programming and operating CNC machinery to manufacture precision aerospace components to the highest quality standards.
\nKey responsibilities include:
\n- \n
- Setting up, programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision-engineered components. \n
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and CNC programs. \n
- Selecting tooling, fixtures, cutting speeds and feeds for efficient machining. \n
- Editing CNC programs and adjusting offsets where required. \n
- Carrying out self-inspection using precision measuring equipment. \n
- Completing quality documentation and ensuring compliance with aerospace standards. \n
- Diagnosing machining issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. \n
- Working closely with Engineering, Production and Quality teams while maintaining a safe and organised working environment. \n
About You
\nYou'll ideally have:
\n- \n
- Previous experience operating and programming CNC machinery within a precision engineering environment. \n
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances. \n
- Experience machining precision components within aerospace, defence or another highly regulated industry. \n
- Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and precision measuring equipment. \n
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement. \n
- A commitment to quality, safety and teamwork. \n
