About the Role

HRGO Recruitment is recruiting for a Forklift Truck (FLT) driver / warehouse operative on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Deeside.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a valid FLT license who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring materials are received, stored, and supplied to production safely and efficiently while maintaining high housekeeping and health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Safely receive and manage deliveries at the warehouse.
\n
• Ensure all delivery drivers comply with site health & safety procedures.
\n
• Load and unload vehicles accurately and safely using a forklift truck.
\n
• Store raw materials in the correct warehouse locations.
\n
• Supply raw materials to production in a timely manner.
\n
• Liaise with suppliers and waste collection companies.
\n
• Arrange waste collections as required.
\n
• Carry out regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
\n
• Communicate effectively with production and other departments.
\n
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
\n
• Operate and carry out basic maintenance checks on balers, including rewiring when required.
\n
• Provide support to the Goods In the department when needed.
\n
• Follow all company health & safety and quality procedures.
\n

About You

\n
• Valid Counterbalance FLT license (essential).
\n
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
\n
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
\n
• Experience loading and unloading vehicles.
\n
• Good communication and organizational skills.
\n
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Basic computer skills would be advantageous.
\n
• Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach to work.
\n
