Trinity House Group is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Finance Administrator to join their established finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused finance professional looking to develop their career within a varied role that offers exposure to financial accounting, reporting, accounts payable, treasury and compliance activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance function, ensuring financial information is processed accurately and efficiently.Key Responsibilities

- Set up and maintain supplier accounts and records. \n
- Manage the employee expenses process and ensure compliance with company procedures. \n
- Support month-end activities, including journal postings, reporting and balance sheet reconciliations. \n
- Produce monthly KPI reports for senior finance stakeholders. \n
- Provide support during internal and external audits. \n
- Assist the Accounts Payable team with invoice processing, reconciliations and query resolution. \n
- Maintain accounting records within Sage for designated business areas. \n
- Support daily bank postings and treasury-related activities. \n
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis to support month-end and year-end requirements. \n
- Complete and submit Office for National Statistics (ONS) surveys. \n
- Assist with the preparation of monthly VAT returns. \n
- Provide general administrative support to the wider finance team as required. \n
- \n
- Previous experience working within a finance, accounting or financial administration role. \n
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including: \n
- \n
- VLOOKUPs \n
- Pivot Tables \n
\n - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. \n
- Strong organisational and time management skills. \n
- Good communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships. \n
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. \n
- \n
- Experience using Sage accounting software. \n
- Exposure to month-end accounting activities. \n
- Knowledge of VAT returns, treasury processes or audit support. \n
- Experience working within an Accounts Payable function. \n
- \n
- Proactive and highly organised. \n
- Comfortable working with large volumes of financial data. \n
- Able to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. \n
- A strong team player with a positive and professional approach. \n
