\nRole Overview
\nPosition: Learning Support Assistant
\nPay Rate: £16.69 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay), paid weekly
\nHours: 08:30 – 16:30 (approx. 7 hours per day)
\nWorking Pattern: Minimum of 4 days per week
\nStart Date: September (confirmed after onboarding)
\nLocation: Twickenham
\nMandatory Training
\nTo be eligible for this role, you must complete:
\nTeam Teach – 2 Days
\nDates to be confirmed
\nThis training will be fully funded by Reed.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
\n- \n
- Support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups \n
- Assist learners with integration into classroom and workplace settings \n
- Work collaboratively with Course Tutors and staff to support student development \n
- Complete termly reviews and maintain accurate progress records \n
- Administer medication (following training and procedures) \n
- Supervise students during breaks and lunch times \n

\nThe recruitment event will include:
\nPresentation
\nCollege managers will provide an overview of the Learning Support Assistant role and daily expectations.
\nGroup Interview
\nYou will have the opportunity to introduce yourself, discuss your experience, and demonstrate your knowledge of supporting young people and safeguarding.
\nWritten Task
\nYou will complete a short written exercise on the day. The task will be provided beforehand for preparation (optional).
\nMeet the Reed Team
\nAsk us any questions about registration, payroll, start dates, or the onboarding process.
\nAfter the Event
\nIf you are successful, a Reed consultant will contact you within a few days.
\nAll successful applicants will complete the full registration process and take part in a paid induction day prior to starting in September.
