Quality Control (Laboratory Assistant)

\n Laboratory Assistant (Quality Control) required in Ledbury, paying £15.31 per hour, working 12-hour day and night shifts on a rotating basis. Immediate start available. Candidates must be available to work for the full duration of the project through to the end of August. Free on-site parking provided.We are recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant to join a busy Quality Control team within a leading food manufacturing business in Ledbury. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on laboratory experience while supporting quality standards in a fast-paced soft fruit production environment.\n

Duties Include:\n

\n
• Carrying out routine laboratory tests and checks
\n
• Taking samples from production lines
\n
• Conducting fruit quality checks, including weight and Brix testing
\n
• Recording results accurately using SAP
\n
• Monitoring laboratory stock and supplies
\n
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
\n
• Supporting production and quality teams as required

• Good attention to detail
\n
• Basic IT skills
\n
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
\n
• Strong communication skills
\n
• Previous laboratory or quality control experience is beneficial but not essential
\n
• Must be available to work for the full project duration until the end of August

Shift Pattern\n

\n
• 12 hour shifts
\n
• Days, nights and weekend working required
\n
• Day Shift: 06:00 – 18:00
\n
• Night Shift: 18:00 – 06:00
\n
