About the role\n

Haleon’s Innovation Transformation, site modernization, and the run portfolio represent a major long‑term investment with projected benefits. This senior leadership role reports to the Head of R&D Tech and is accountable for the end‑to‑end orchestration of technology delivery across all R&D product pillars. You will act as the central control tower for the Innovation value pool, integrating HDS initiatives, managing risks, dependencies, sequencing, execution, value realization, and service transition coherence. The role ensures enterprise strategy translates into a unified delivery plan with emphasis on change leadership, readiness, and transition to Level 2 support. Deep expertise in R&D, innovation, GxP, and regulatory expectations is required to guide delivery decisions with scientific and compliance rigor.

Role Responsibilities\n

• Strategic Stakeholder Influence and governance: engage with senior leaders globally, represent R&D Tech in governance bodies, and ensure high‑quality reporting, decision support, and escalation across the portfolio.
\n
• Strategic Digital R&D Delivery Leadership: translate strategies into integrated delivery plans, lead end‑to‑end delivery across product lines, and optimize the R&D Tech delivery roadmap.
\n
• Innovation and R&D acumen, business process transformation, digitization, and value realization: partner with Global R&D, QSC, and marketing to transform end‑to‑end processes and realize value through digital, data, and AI enabled use cases.
\n
• Matrix leadership and contract ecosystem management: lead cross‑functional teams, provide direction, and oversee vendor negotiations and multi‑partner ecosystem contracts.
\n
• Operational excellence: promote data literacy, change management, training, business readiness, and smooth transition to Level 2 support with clear ownership and SLAs.
\n

QualificationsBasic Qualifications\n

\n
• Technical product and domain expertise in delivering innovation and R&D programs in validated environments, including Veeva Vault and related platforms; knowledge of Accolade or comparable PPM platforms.
\n
• Broad knowledge of Clinical, Regulatory, Safety, and Research Lab processes in consumer health and life sciences.
\n
• Experience with integration technologies, APIs, middleware, master data, and enterprise data flows.
\n
• Solid grounding in GxP, CSV, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
\n
• Data and AI literacy to oversee a mix of innovation and R&D priorities, including traditional SaaS workflows and data foundations.
\n
• Proven track record leading large‑scale implementations, global cross‑functional teams, and external partnerships; strong prioritization and risk management skills.
\n
