\nWe are seeking a motivated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join a busy and supportive GP Practice in Northampton.
\nWhether you are an experienced Practice Nurse or a Registered Nurse looking to develop your career within Primary Care, this is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking practice committed to delivering outstanding patient care. \nKey Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care within a GP Practice setting
\n - \n
Undertake chronic disease management clinics, including Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, and Hypertension
\n - \n
Administer vaccinations, immunisations, and injectable medications
\n - \n
Perform cervical cytology and support family planning and contraception services
\n - \n
Provide wound care, dressings, and post-operative care
\n - \n
Support minor surgery clinics alongside GPs
\n - \n
Undertake patient assessments, triage, and follow-up care
\n - \n
Promote health education, lifestyle advice, and disease prevention
\n - \n
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
\n - \n
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary primary care team
\n - \n
Contribute to quality improvement and service development initiatives
\n

Registered Nurse with current NMC registration

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
\n - \n
Strong clinical assessment skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Willingness to undertake further training and professional development

Desirable

Previous experience working within General Practice or Primary Care

Experience managing long-term conditions
\n - \n
Cervical Cytology qualification
\n - \n
Immunisation and vaccination experience
\n - \n
Family planning and contraception experience

Experience using SystmOne
