Telehandler Operator (with 360 Slew / Slinger Preferred)

Location: Future Yard, 75 Argyle Street, Birkenhead

Duration: 1 Week

Start: Weds / Thurs

Rate: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to work on a short-term project in Birkenhead. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the safe movement and positioning of approximately 60 tonnes of structural steel on site.

Candidates who also hold 360 Slew Telehandler and/or Slinger Signaller qualifications will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a telehandler safely and efficiently on site.
\n
• Assisting with the unloading, movement, and placement of structural steel.
\n
• Working closely with site management and lifting teams.
\n
• Conducting daily machine checks and reporting defects.
\n
• Adhering to all site health & safety procedures.
\n
• Supporting general lifting operations as required.
\n

Requirements

Essential

\n
• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
\n
• Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
\n
• PPE and ability to work safely within a live construction environment.
\n
• Reliable and punctual.
\n

Desirable

\n
• 360 Slew Telehandler qualification.
\n
• Slinger Signaller qualification.
\n
• Experience handling steelwork and heavy lifting operations.
\n
