\nPertemps are recruiting for a Yard Operative on behalf of a well-established and growing client. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering full-time hours and long-term job security for the right candidate. This role would suit someone who enjoys a hands-on, physically active position and is comfortable carrying out manual handling duties, picking and packing orders, and supporting the day-to-day running of the yard and warehouse operation.\n

Key Responsibilities\n
\nPicking and packing orders accurately for customer dispatch\n
\nPreparing, organising and loading orders ready for collection and delivery\n
\nCarrying out regular manual handling and lifting duties throughout the day\n
\nLoading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently\n
\nCleaning and washing products and equipment as required\n
\nInspecting items to ensure they meet quality standards before dispatch\n
\nOrganising stock and maintaining storage areas\n
\nMaintaining a clean, safe and tidy yard and warehouse environment\n
\nCarrying out general yard and warehouse duties as required\n
\n
The Ideal Candidate\n
\nReliable, punctual and hardworking\n
\nComfortable with physical work, including frequent lifting and manual handling\n
\nPrevious experience in a warehouse, yard, picking, packing or logistics environment is desirable but not essential\n
\nGood attention to detail and accuracy when preparing orders\n
\nComfortable working both indoors and outdoors as required\n
\nAble to work independently and as part of a team\n
\nPositive attitude and strong work ethic\n
\n
