\n Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Production Manager to join a manufacturing company based in Andover. This is a permanent, full time position.

\n Responsibilities as a Production Manager:

\n

\n
• Overseeing manufacturing and production processes
  
  
\n
• Creating and execute daily, weekly, monthly production schedules
  
  
\n
• Procuring factory production equipment and taking responsibility for its maintenance in liaison with maintenance engineer
  
  
\n
• Striving to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines
  
  
\n
• Maintaining hygienic conditions for both employees and the factory itself
  
  
\n
• Implementing all the company’s procedures and policies
  
  
\n
• Communicating any problems or obstacles to senior management
  
  
\n
• Monitoring productivity rates, standards and quality control
  
  
\n
• Training and coaching Factory Operatives
  
  
\n
• Implementing safety, health, environment and quality requirements
  
  
\n
• Chair weekly operations meeting
  
  
\n
• Liaise daily with admin team ref delivery issues
  
  
\n

\n
\n Requirements for this position: \n
\n
\n

\n
• Minimum 5 years Production management experience
  
  
\n
• SAP proficient
  
  
\n
• Excellent leaderships skills
  
  
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
  
\n

\n
\n
\n The Production Manager Role: \n
\n
\n

\n
• £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
  
  
\n
• Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday – 8am – 2.30pm
  
  
\n
• Monthly targeted bonus available
  
  
\n
• 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and Christmas shutdown and an extra day off for your birthday
  
  
\n
• Bupa private medical after 6 months probationary period
