Interim Business Analyst

The Role

We are looking for an interim Business Analyst to join our client for at least 6 months. In this role you will build reports, analyse profitability, and work with various departments to deliver on targets. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong financial background who is looking to step out of the finance department and use their knowledge and analysis skills to really help the business during a period of transition, expansion and growth. This role will be based on site just on the outskirts of central Birmingham so please consider location.

Key Responsibilities

In this role as an interim Business Analyst you will be responsible for:

• Analysing profitability of the business across multiple streams
\n
• Maintaining and updating profitability reporting
\n
• Supporting operational departments, ensuring they have timely information to make key decisions
\n
• Supporting the CFO in preparation of the monthly board pack and turning complex information into a tangible story
\n

Required Qualifications & Experience

The successful interim Business Analyst will have:

\n
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
\n
• Ability to translate complex data into meaningful MI
\n
• Strong Excel and data skills
\n
• Collaborative, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
\n
• Experience working in a private equity or investor-backed environment
\n
