Grounds Maintenance Operative – Gardener Location: Birmingham, B37 Salary: £25,893 per annum or £13.46 per hour (PAYE) Hours: 37 hours per weekMonday–Thursday: 7:30am–3:30pmFriday: 7:30am–3:00pm Contract: Temporary (sickness cover)Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality grass cutting across estates and communal areas using modern equipment
\n
• Hedge, bush and shrub trimming, pruning and seasonal planting
\n
• Weed control, strimming and edging to ensure a neat, well-finished appearance
\n
• Safe removal and disposal of green waste
\n
• Litter picking and general site tidying
\n
• Light maintenance of paved and slabbed areas, including sweeping and weed treatment
\n

Important Requirements (Essential):

\n
• Full UK manual driving licence – this is essential
\n
• Ability to drive a manual company vehicle as part of the role
\n

Desirable:

\n
• PA1 & PA6 spraying licence
\n
• Banksman training
\n
• Licence to drive a trailer
\n
