Location: Shipley

Job Type: Permeant

Hours: 38 hours per week (Mon-Thu: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Fri: 8:00 am – 2:30 pm)

Salary: £25,500

Reed is recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing company based in Shipley, our client is looking for a Production Operative to join the team on a permanent basis.

Day-to-day of the role:

\n
• Assist with the production and assembly of sheet metal products
\n
• Operate machinery and equipment following training and company procedures
\n
• Carry out basic insulation and lining work on products where required
\n
• Follow work instructions to complete tasks to the required standard
\n
• Check finished products for any visible defects and report any issues to the supervisor
\n
• Help keep machinery and work areas clean, tidy and safe
\n
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE)
\n
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
\n
• Undertake other general factory and production duties as required
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing, production or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
\n
• A willingness to learn and follow instructions.
\n
• Good attention to detail.
\n
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
\n
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
\n
• Positive attitude and flexible approach to work.
\n
• Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment.
