Role: Principal People & Change Partner
\nLocation: Liverpool (Hybrid – minimum 6 days per month in the office)
\nContract: Temporary - 3 months
\nHours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9am–5pm)
\nSalary: Hourly rate (REED PAYE)
\n\nRole Overview
\nWe are seeking an experienced Principal People & Change Partner to lead organisational change and transformation initiatives during a significant period of business change.
\nWorking closely with senior leaders and the Director of People & Culture, you will drive restructures, organisational design, workforce planning, and consultation processes, while providing expert advice on complex employee relations matters. This is a strategic yet hands on role requiring strong stakeholder management, change management, and employment law expertise.
\n\nKey Responsibilities

- Lead organisational redesign, restructuring, and transformation programmes. \n
- Partner with senior leaders on organisational design and workforce planning. \n
- Manage consultation, redundancy, and redeployment processes. \n
- Prepare business cases, consultation documentation, and employee communications. \n
- Provide expert advice on complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence matters. \n
- Coach and support leaders through periods of change. \n
- Develop and review people policies, ensuring legal compliance and best practice. \n
- Work closely with People Operations, Payroll, and Learning & Culture teams to deliver successful change outcomes \n
Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience). \n
- Significant experience in a senior HR, People Partnering, Change, or OD role. \n
- Proven track record of leading restructures and organisational transformation programmes. \n
- Strong employee relations experience, including complex and high-risk case management. \n
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment law, particularly relating to consultation and organisational change. \n
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience working with senior leaders. \n
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving abilities. \n
