Job Title: Intermediary Partnership Engagement Trainee
\nSalary: £25,000
\nDuration: Permanent – September 2026 Start
\nHours: Full time – 4 days in office, 1 day from home
\nLocation: Near NEC, Solihull
\nRole Purpose:
\nA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dual function role within the Mortgage and Insurance Helpdesk (3 days per week), and the Marketing department (2 days per week) for a business within the financial services market.
\nThe successful candidate will have the training to support with technical knowledge, as well as contributing to campaigns, content and communications.
\nThe opportunity to study for your CeMAP qualification is also available in this company once probation is complete.
\nWe are expecting interviews to take place early August for a September start in this role.
\nKey Duties:
\nHelpdesk:
\n- \n
- Handle inbound enquiries on mortgage and protection product placement, criteria and lender appetite \n
- Develop working knowledge of the lender panel, protection provider panel and associated product ranges \n
- Respond to member queries with accuracy and a solutions focused approach, escalating complex cases to senior colleagues appropriately \n
- Support the helpdesk inbox and telephone lines, maintaining service standards and response times \n
- Record all interactions accurately within the CRM system \n
- Attend lender and provider workshops, webinars and product briefings to build market knowledge \n
Marketing:
\n- \n
- Support the creation of member facing communications including bulletins, newsletters, product updates and regulatory briefings \n
- Draft and schedule social media content maintaining brand tone and compliance standards \n
- Assist in writing copy for the website, member portal and email campaigns \n
- Contribute to the production of event materials, presentations, brochures and member guides \n
Key Skills/Experience Required:

- Genuine interest in the financial services and mortgage intermediary market \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail \n
- Comfortable speaking with clients and external stakeholders on the telephone and via email \n
- Organised, self-motivated and capable of managing time across two distinct functions \n
- A collaborative team player who is curious, eager to learn and willing to ask questions \n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) \n
