Job Description
HR Advisor
\nLocation: Black Country
\nAre you an ambitious HR Advisor ready to step into a role where you can truly own your space, influence day-to-day operations, and grow your career?
\nOne of my clients is looking for a proactive, engagement focused HR Advisor to join their collaborative team. In this role, you’ll be at the center of people operations, acting as a trusted partner to managers, a champion for employees, and a key driver of workplace culture.
\nWhy You’ll Love This Role
\n- \n
- No two days will look the same. You will balance core HR operations with exciting, culture-shaping projects. \n
- You will have the space to manage your own caseload and recruitment processes, backed by a supportive leadership team. \n
- Beyond daily HR advisory work, you will collaborate on projects like employee wellbeing, diversity & inclusion, and workforce data analysis. \n
What You’ll Be Doing
\nAs our go-to HR champion, you’ll focus on the below:
\n- \n
- Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, offering expert guidance on policies, processes, and UK employment law. \n
- Manage routine employee relations cases (absence, performance, grievances, and disciplinaries), guiding managers with confidence and escalating complex issues when needed. \n
- Partner with management to implement organizational change, ensuring smooth, transparent communication across teams. \n
- Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment journey: from drafting job descriptions and screening top talent to sitting on interview panels. \n
- Own the onboarding experience, creating a seamless, welcoming "Day One" and beyond for every new hire (including right-to-work checks and system setup). \n
- Manage HR data, compliance and payroll preparation data. \n
- Track and analyse key metrics (turnover, absence, training) to provide leadership with actionable insights for workforce planning. \n
- Champion employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, recognition programs, and wellness events. \n
What You Bring to the Team
\n- \n
- Proven experience in a dedicated HR Advisor or generalist role, with a solid understanding of UK employment law. \n
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. You know how to handle sensitive situations with empathy, confidentiality, and professionalism. \n
- Comfort managing HR information systems, tracking metrics, and ensuring accurate data for payroll and compliance. \n
- A self-starter who looks at a process and thinks, "How can we make this better?" \n
