Description
\nInterim EMEA Payroll Specialist
\n\n- \n
- Manage the day-to-day administration of assigned payrolls, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries, statutory deductions, benefits and other payroll-related payments. \n
- Partner with HR and internal stakeholders to collect, review and validate payroll data prior to submission to external payroll providers. \n
- Maintain a strong understanding of payroll operations and ensure payroll activities are completed in line with established procedures and controls. \n
- Support the management of complex payroll activities, including international payroll considerations, cross-border transactions and employee mobility arrangements where applicable. \n
- Assist the Payroll Lead in the delivery of payroll services across the EMEA region within an outsourced payroll environment. \n
- Act as a key point of contact for payroll queries and escalations, providing a high level of service to employees, business stakeholders and external vendors. \n
- Perform payroll reconciliations and ensure appropriate controls are maintained over payments to payroll vendors, benefit providers and statutory authorities. \n
- Support employee, stakeholder and supplier enquiries, ensuring issues are resolved accurately and within agreed timelines. \n
- Maintain payroll process documentation, controls and procedures to support compliance, consistency and audit requirements. \n
Profile
\nInterim EMEA Payroll Specialist
\n\n- \n
- Demonstrable experience managing end-to-end payroll across multiple European countries. \n
- Experience working within outsourced payroll operating models and partnering with third-party payroll providers. \n
- Familiarity with HR and payroll systems, including integrated payroll environments. \n
- Understanding of employee benefits and other payroll-related compensation processes would be beneficial. \n
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance requirements and payroll controls within a regulated environment. \n
- Highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment. \n
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills. \n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities. \n
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools. \n
Job Offer
\nInterim EMEA Payroll Specialist

- Assignment running until June 2027 \n
- Total pay rate: c. £200 per day (inc. holiday pay) \n
- 2x days per week at Maidenhead site \n
- Free parking on site and commutable via public transport \n
- Full time role - 37.5 hours per week \n
- Adjustable start and finish times \n
- Start date: ASAP \n
