Key Responsibilities\n

  • Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts across multiple entities within the group.
  • \n
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • \n
  • Analyse group performance, providing meaningful commentary on variances and trends.
  • \n
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
  • \n
  • Ensure intercompany reconciliations are completed and maintained accurately.
  • \n
  • Work closely with operational and commercial teams to support decision-making.
  • \n
  • Support continuous improvement of reporting processes and financial controls.
  • \n
  • Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors where required.
  • \n
  • Contribute to projects including systems improvements and process optimisation.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or a finalist with strong relevant experience in management accounting, group accounting or financial reporting. They will have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail. They will be a confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and influence non-finance stakeholders, alongside a proactive and ambitious mindset with a genuine desire to develop within a growing group environment. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems are also essential.
