Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts across multiple entities within the group. \n
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to senior stakeholders. \n
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes. \n
- Analyse group performance, providing meaningful commentary on variances and trends. \n
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning. \n
- Ensure intercompany reconciliations are completed and maintained accurately. \n
- Work closely with operational and commercial teams to support decision-making. \n
- Support continuous improvement of reporting processes and financial controls. \n
- Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors where required. \n
- Contribute to projects including systems improvements and process optimisation. \n
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or a finalist with strong relevant experience in management accounting, group accounting or financial reporting. They will have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail. They will be a confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and influence non-finance stakeholders, alongside a proactive and ambitious mindset with a genuine desire to develop within a growing group environment. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems are also essential.
