Our client is looking for a practical, hands-on Test Engineer to join a growing team. This is a varied role combining warehouse operations, equipment testing, and light engineering modifications. You will play a key role in ensuring all equipment is prepared, tested, modified where required, and ready for dispatch to the highest standards. This position would suit someone with experience in a warehouse, engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment who enjoys a mix of physical and technical work.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations\n

\n
• Safely load and unload delivery vehicles
\n
• Operate a forklift truck
\n
• Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming stock
\n
• Organise and maintain warehouse storage areas
\n
• Pick and prepare equipment for customer orders
\n
• Repackage equipment to ensure safe transportation
\n

Equipment Testing & Preparation\n

\n
• Test associated equipment to company standards
\n
• Record and report test results as required
\n
• Apply branding and labelling in accordance with company guidelines
\n
• Ensure all equipment is fully prepared and ready for dispatch
\n

Technical & Engineering Duties\n

\n
• Carry out minor equipment modifications, including installation of higher-pressure pumps and bypasses
\n
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout all work
\n
• Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues where required
\n

Customer & Team Support\n

\n
• Support customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
\n
• Assist with customer training sessions when required
\n
• Provide occasional support to the service team
\n

What We're Looking For:Essential\n

\n
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck License
\n
• Experience working in a warehouse, engineering, or technical environment
\n
• Good mechanical aptitude and practical hands-on skills
\n
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Good communication skills
\n

• Occasional local travel may be required
