This Audit & Accounts Semi Senior role offers a clear focus on accounts work, balanced with audit experience. With a split of approximately 70% accounts preparation and 30% audit, you'll be able to develop a strong technical foundation while progressing towards full ACA qualification.

• Preparing statutory accounts for SMEs with growing independence (around 70% of your time)

• Drafting disclosures and supporting schedules for financial statements
\n
• Identifying and resolving routine accounting issues
\n
• Leading assigned audit sections, including substantive testing and documentation (around 30% of your time)
\n
• Producing high-quality working papers with clear reasoning
\n
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
\n
• Communicating directly with clients to gather information and answer queries
\n

• Part-qualified ACA with ongoing studies
\n
• Some practice experience, ideally across both accounts and audit
\n
• Confident communicator, able to liaise with clients effectively
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
\n
• Desire to take ownership and develop within the accountancy profession
