Interim Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst

Axon Moore are supporting a well-established and highly respected organisation in the appointment of a Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst based in Leeds.This is an exciting opportunity to join a business with a strong heritage and ambitious growth plans. Working within a collaborative finance team, the successful candidate will provide high-quality financial planning, reporting and commercial analysis, supporting senior stakeholders with key business decisions.The key roles and responsibilities for this person will include:\n

• Production and reporting of all aspects of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
\n
• Developing dashboards and management reporting packs to provide clear financial insights across the business
\n
• Conducting strategic and ad-hoc financial analysis to support key business initiatives
\n
• Analysing financial performance and key variances, identifying trends and underlying business drivers
\n
• Business partnering with senior managers to provide commercial support and financial guidance
\n
• Supporting the development of business cases, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI modelling
\n
• Driving improvements in financial reporting processes, including automation and system enhancements
\n

The ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following:\n

\n
• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or by Experience)
\n
• Previous experience within financial planning, reporting or commercial finance
\n
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly
\n
• Excellent Excel and reporting skills, with experience producing dashboards and management information
\n
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering experience
\n
