Pertemps are currently recruiting Mechanical Assembly Operatives to join a leading manufacturing company based in Clevedon. The company produces specialist vacuum and exhaust management systems used within the semiconductor industry. Ideal candidates will come from a hands-on, “on-the-tools” background, including experience in roles such as mechanical fitter, maintenance technician, fabricator, automotive or vehicle mechanic, toolmaker, CNC operator, or similar practical engineering positions. Key Duties\n

\n
• Mechanical assembly of frames, brackets and components
\n
• Building sub-assemblies using tools and equipment
\n
• Installing pipework and mechanical components
\n
• Fitting heaters and insulation to pipe runs
\n
• Following basic engineering drawings and work instructions
\n
• Supporting general production and assembly tasks
\n
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
\n

What We’re Looking For\n

\n
• Previous assembly, manufacturing or engineering experience
\n
• Experience using hand tools and working with mechanical parts
\n
• Ability to follow instructions and drawings
\n
• Good attention to detail
\n
• Reliable and able to work both independently and in a team
\n
• Experience in roles such as Assembly Operative, Mechanical Fitter, Vehicle Mechanic, CNC Operator, Fabricator or Production Operative would be beneficial, but not essential
\n

• A choice of either Weekly or Monthly pay.
\n
• Due to the location, candidates should live locally to Clevedon or have their own transport.
\n
