Interim Accounts Receivable / Credit Control LeadConstruction | Up to £20 per hour | Southwell | Ongoing Temporary Role | Potential to Become Permanent Are you an experienced accounts receivable and credit control professional who can step into a role and quickly take ownership? We’re working with a well-established construction company based in Southwell that is looking for an Interim Accounts Receivable / Credit Control Lead to join its finance team on an ongoing temporary basis. For the right person, there may also be the opportunity for the role to become permanent.The RoleAround 80% of the position will focus on accounts receivable and credit control. You will take responsibility for managing approximately 75–100 bespoke, high-value invoices each month, working closely with operational teams to ensure invoices are accurate and issued promptly. You will also investigate and resolve billing queries, proactively chase outstanding debt and help maintain healthy cash flow across the business. The remaining 20% of the role will involve supporting the wider finance team with purchase ledger and general accounts duties, making this a varied, hands-on position. What We’re Looking For \n

- Strong accounts receivable and credit control experience \n
- Experience managing high-value or complex invoicing \n
- Previous experience within construction, engineering or another project-based environment would be advantageous \n
- Confidence liaising with customers and operational teams \n
- A hands-on, organised and detail-focused approach \n
- The ability to quickly understand existing processes and take ownership of the ledger \n
