Finance Manager

Mapped Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a design-led brand (store, e-commerce and wholesale) on their search for a Finance Manager to join their London team permanently.

You'll take ownership of the monthly management accounts, cash flow, and financial controls. Perfect for a Senior Management Accountant looking to take a step up or a Finance Manager looking to move into a role with a clear future progression path to Financial Controller level.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Reporting into the Financial Controller Mentor and developing the Accounts Payable team and Management Accountants
\n
• Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) including group consolidation across wholesale and e-commerce divisions
\n
• Deliver variance analysis vs budget, forecast, and prior year with clear narrative for senior leadership
\n
• Own month-end entries: payroll journals, fixed asset register, bank recs, credit card transactions, intercompany, prepayments and accruals
\n
• Prepare and present the bi-weekly cash flow model
\n
• VAT returns and HMRC reporting
\n
• Year-end audit schedules and external auditor liaison
\n
• Business partner for Head of Departments reviewing actuals vs budget monthly
\n
• Support the FC on budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc strategic projects
\n

Key Requirements:

\n
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)/finalist or qualified by experience with strong, relevant experience
\n
• Solid management accounting and financial reporting background
\n
• Experience in a wholesale,retail or stock environment is highly advantageous
\n
• Exceptional communicator - confidence and ability to partner with SL
\n
• Advanced Excel
\n
• Highly organised, naturally curious, and driven by accuracy and high standards
\n
• A team player with a genuine desire to develop people and improve processes
\n

Successful candidates must be looking and committed to 3 days in the office - well-connected area of London - (Monday, Tuesdays & Thursdays) (9:30am - 6pm)
