Credit Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Apprentice / Finance Assistant to join a growing and supportive finance team. This role offers excellent exposure to a wide range of finance activities while providing support towards a recognised Accounts Assistant qualification.Key Responsibilities:\n

• Monitor customer accounts and chase outstanding payments
\n
• Send payment reminders and account statements
\n
• Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts
\n
• Respond to customer invoice and payment queries
\n
• Assist with aged debt reporting and credit control activities
\n
• Process purchase invoices and expenses
\n
• Update and maintain accurate financial records
\n
• Support month-end finance activities and data cleansing projects
\n

• Keen to develop a career in finance and accounting

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Good communication skills and confidence dealing with customers

• Previous work experience is beneficial but not essential
