\nJob Role
\nAs a Digital Trading Executive, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding direct-to-consumer experience across our digital sales channels, encompassing our Scotch whisky, gin, vodka and rum brands.
\nWorking across e-commerce platforms, digital marketing activities and fulfilment operations, you will help ensure our customers enjoy a seamless journey from product launch through to delivery.
\nThis is a varied and hands-on role combining digital trading, merchandising, customer service, marketing support and operational coordination. Working within the Commercial team and reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, you will work cross-functionally with colleagues across Sales, Marketing and Operations to help drive online sales while maintaining the premium standards associated with the Gleann Mòr Spirits portfolio.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nDigital Trading & Merchandising

- Manage and maintain product listings, merchandising and promotional activity across our e-commerce platforms. \n
- Support new product launches, online campaigns and seasonal promotions. \n
- Monitor website performance and identify opportunities to improve customer experience and commercial performance. \n
- Ensure product information, pricing and digital content remain accurate and up to date. \n
Customer Experience & Direct-to-Consumer Operations

- Deliver excellent customer service across all direct-to-consumer channels. \n
- Coordinate the day-to-day administration of online orders and fulfilment processes. \n
- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure efficient order processing and stock availability. \n
- Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner. \n
Marketing & Commercial Support

- Execute digital marketing campaigns across email, website and social media channels. \n
- Assist with content creation, promotional activity and customer communications. \n
- Support initiatives that drive customer acquisition, repeat purchases and brand engagement. \n
- Contribute ideas that improve the online customer journey and overall commercial performance. \n
Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to ensure the successful delivery of campaigns and product launches. \n
- Maintain accurate reporting through internal systems and digital platforms. \n
- Support wider commercial projects and business initiatives as required. \n
Location & Working Pattern

- Full-time position based at our Bankhead office, Edinburgh. \n
- Office-based with flexibility depending on business requirements. \n
- Occasional travel and attendance at trade or consumer events may be required. \n
Salary & Benefits

- Starting Salary: £30,000 per annum. \n
- Bonus Scheme: Eligible following the successful completion of the probationary period and linked to clear KPIs and overall business commercial performance. \n

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
\nEssential
\n- \n
- Previous experience in e-commerce, digital trading, merchandising, retail operations, customer service or a similar commercial environment. \n
- Proven experience managing Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform, including product management, merchandising and online trading activities. \n
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. \n
- Confident IT user with experience of digital systems and Microsoft Office. \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. \n
- Commercial awareness with a proactive and solutions-focused approach. \n
- Previous experience within the alcohol or drinks industry is not essential. \n
Desirable
\n- \n
- Experience managing third-party sales channels and online marketplaces. \n
- Experience using digital marketing platforms, email marketing software (e.g. Mailchimp) or CRM systems. \n
- Knowledge of website merchandising, product launches and online trading. \n
- Experience within retail, FMCG, luxury goods or consumer brands. \n
- Understanding of website analytics and customer engagement metrics. \n
