HR Assistant | Rainham | Part-time 20 hours | Pro Rata £15k – £17.5k
\nOne to One Personnel are seeking a proactive and well-organised HR Assistant to support our clients day to day HR operations within a busy but small working environment.
\nThis role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and a genuine interest in HR processes.
\nWorking closely with the HR team, you will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll support and general HR queries, ensuring a smooth and professional service for all staff.
\nPlease note to be considered for this position you will need to be CIPD qualified.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Support the recruitment process by posting job adverts, screening CVs and scheduling interviews. \n
- Conduct HR checks for blue-collar employees. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases. \n
- Assist with onboarding, including preparing documentation, orientation materials and initial training. \n
- Provide support with payroll processing and benefits administration. \n
- Help coordinate employee training and development activities. \n
- Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures and benefits. \n
- Assist in preparing HR reports, documentation and presentations. \n
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as required. \n
Qualifications & Skills
\n- \n
- You will be CIPD qualified or have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. \n
- Previous HR or administrative experience is an advantage. \n
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. \n
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills. \n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). \n
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach. \n
The Package
\n- \n
- (20 hours per week) ideally 10:00am – 2:00pm Monday to Friday \n
- Salary range: £15,000 – £17,500 annually depending on experience \n
- Onsite parking available and close to public transport \n
- 25 days + Bank Holidays (pro rata) (5 days to be saved for Christmas shutdown) \n
