Social Worker - Adult Mental Health

Our client, Leicester City Council, is seeking an agency social worker for its Adult Mental Health team.

This role will last 3 months initially and is paid at £34 umbrella.

One day per week in the office.

The role will involve the following:

• Assessments under the Care Act
\n
• Care planning and support
\n
• Safeguarding
\n
• Multi agency working
\n
• Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity work
\n
• Complete Best Interest Decisions
\n
• Residential reviews
\n
• Covering team duty
\n
• Eligibility assessments
\n
• Hosp discharge
\n
• S117 meetings
\n
• Strength based assessments
\n

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
\n
• Fully Social Work England registered
\n
• Must have significant post-qualified experience in adult social care
\n
• Ideal candidate will have some experience of working with adults with mental health conditions
