Location: Colchester Job Type: Temporary Salary: £18-£19 p/hour

About the role

Our client is seeking a motivated and reliable Marketing Temp to join our team on a temporary basis for 3-4 weeks. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality work and contributing to a dynamic environment.

You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations while ensuring excellent service and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Research and develop weekly social media and digital content plans
\n
• Support internal communications through newsletters, intranet updates, and staff engagement activities
\n
• Assist in planning and delivering firm events, both in-person and online
\n
• Produce clear, engaging copy for websites, blogs, PR, and internal announcements
\n
• Monitor campaign performance and provide reports on engagement and effectiveness
\n
• Contribute to legal directory submissions and awards while managing and responding to online reviews
\n

Why you?

They are looking for someone who is:

• 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role, and preferably holding, or progressing towards, some formal qualification
\n
• Strong writing skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content for internal and external audiences
\n
• Proficiency in digital tools such as WordPress, Canva, Adobe, and social media platforms
\n
• Strong understanding of marketing principles, with confidence working across multiple channels
\n
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for varied audiences
\n
• Well-organised with the ability to manage deadlines, alongside an interest in professional services or a similar sector
\n
