Credit Controller

Your new company: You will be joining a successful and growing business, working from the Chertsey offices. Your new roleWorking in a team environment, you will be responsible for your own ledger of accounts. You will measure your success by reducing aged debt, and minimising credit risk to the business. In this varied role, your duties will include:

• Setting up new customer accounts and running credit checks
\n
• Monitoring customers against agreed limits to reduce risk to the business
\n
• Contacting customers to collect due and overdue payments
\n
• Negotiating payment plans where appropriate
\n
• Monitoring and making commercial decisions regarding credit-held orders
\n
• Working with customers and colleagues to resolve invoice-related queries and disputes
\n
• Reconciling customer payments
\n
• Keeping all customer information accurately updated
\n
• Reporting, analysis and month-end duties
\n

What you'll need to succeedYou will be a skilled business-to-business credit controller, who has a proven track record of aged debt reduction and accounts receivable administration. You will also need excellent communication skills, the ability to build relationships at all levels, and be commercially minded.
