Interim Financial Controller

A global property business is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to support a complex international finance function during a period of growth and transformation.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a technically strong accountant with proven experience overseeing monthly reporting, group consolidations, and financial control across a large international structure.

As an Interim Financial Controller, you will:

• Lead the month-end close and delivery of high-quality management reporting to tight deadlines.
\n
• Oversee the consolidation of financial results across a large multi-entity, multi-currency group structure.
\n
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across more than 40 legal entities.
\n
• Review and enhance internal controls, processes, and governance frameworks.
\n
• Partner with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
\n
• Manage and develop a team of four finance professionals.
\n
• Support technical accounting matters and ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards.
\n
• Drive continuous improvements in reporting, controls, and finance operations.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• ACA qualified, ideally trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 accounting firm.
\n
• Financial Controller background within a complex, international organisation.
\n
• Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations.
\n
• Team management experience.
\n
• High attention to detail.
\n
• Internal controls experience.
\n
