Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Manager to join a leading events business, taking ownership of the marketing strategy for one of the UK's largest and most recognised consumer exhibitions.
\nThis is a hands-on role where you'll lead the planning and delivery of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive visitor attendance, ticket sales and brand engagement. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you'll play a key role in shaping the future growth of a flagship live event.
The Role\nAs Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and executing high-impact marketing campaigns across digital, traditional and partnership channels. This is a fast-paced position requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on campaign delivery.
\nKey responsibilities include:
\n- \n
- Developing and delivering integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns. \n
- Driving visitor acquisition, retention and engagement through CRM and audience segmentation. \n
- Managing campaigns across email, website, paid digital, social media, PR, TV, radio and press. \n
- Building relationships with sponsors, media partners, ambassadors, influencers and third-party partners. \n
- Managing external agencies including creative, digital, PR and media buying. \n
- Monitoring campaign performance using analytics and CRM data, providing insight and recommendations. \n
- Leading the onsite marketing delivery during the live event. \n
- Managing website content, SEO and digital assets. \n
- Collaborating with Sales, Operations, PR and Event teams to deliver commercial objectives. \n
- Contributing fresh ideas to support the continued growth and evolution of the event. \n
We're looking for an experienced marketing professional who enjoys taking ownership of campaigns and thrives in a fast-moving events environment.
\nYou'll ideally have:
\n- \n
- At least 5 years' experience in event marketing or a similar senior marketing role. \n
- Proven success delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns. \n
- Experience managing PR activity and developing strategic partnerships. \n
- Strong digital marketing knowledge, including Google Analytics, CRM platforms, CMS and email marketing systems. \n
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to optimise campaigns using data. \n
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Experience managing multiple projects and delivering to tight deadlines. \n
- Content creation and copywriting experience. \n
- A proactive, creative and commercially minded approach. \n
Marketing qualifications such as CIM or IDM would be advantageous but are not essential.
