We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy practice seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join its expanding accounts team. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your experience, work with a varied client portfolio and continue your professional studies within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

You'll work closely with senior members of the accounts team, supporting a diverse range of clients while developing your technical skills and building long-term client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing year-end accounts and management accounts
\n
• Calculating corporation tax and personal tax liabilities
\n
• Supporting clients with tax planning and business advice
\n
• Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted point of contact
\n
• Providing Xero support and training to clients
\n
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members
\n
• Working collaboratively across the wider business to deliver an excellent client service
\n

About You

\n
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice
\n
• Experience with cloud accounting software (knowledge of CCH is advantageous)
\n
• Strong communication and organisational skills
\n
• Keen to learn, develop and progress within a growing firm
\n
