\nThe Credit Controller's responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Manage customer accounts, monitor aged debt, and proactively collect outstanding payments to support healthy cash flow. \n
- Administer trade credit insurance, including managing credit limits, liaising with insurers, and ensuring compliance with policy requirements. \n
- Produce accurate and timely sales invoices, credit notes, and account reconciliations. \n
- Assess customer creditworthiness, monitor credit risk, and recommend actions to minimise bad debt exposure. \n
- Resolve customer billing and payment queries while maintaining strong customer relationships. \n
- Support finance reporting, cash flow forecasting, and continuous improvement of credit control and invoicing processes. \n

Profile
\nA successful Credit Controller should have:
\n- \n
- Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role. \n
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of trade credit insurance, credit risk management, and sales invoicing processes. \n
- Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence in managing customer payment discussions. \n
- Be highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. \n
- Have good analytical skills and the ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and make informed decisions. \n
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and comfortable using finance and ERP systems \n
