DSAR Specialist

A UK-based provider of financial services solutions supporting customers across a range of lending and operational services is seeking an experienced DSAR Specialist Due to an increase in Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) volumes. Alongside managing requests, this role will also support the use and ongoing development of a newly introduced AI-enabled tool designed to improve the process. This is an opportunity to join a busy team and play a key role in maintaining a high-quality and compliant service.Role Summary We are looking for an experienced DSAR professional to support the handling of Data Subject Access Requests during a period of increased demand. The successful contractor will manage requests from receipt through to completion, ensuring responses are accurate, compliant and delivered within required timescales. In addition to day-to-day DSAR activity, you will work with a newly introduced AI-based tool, helping to review outputs, identify improvements and support the ongoing development of the process. What You'll Be Doing As DSAR Specialist\n

\n
• Managing Data Subject Access Requests from receipt through to completion
\n
• Gathering and reviewing information from multiple business areas
\n
• Ensuring responses are accurate, complete and compliant with data protection requirements
\n
• Monitoring and managing deadlines and case progress
\n
• Reviewing AI-generated outputs and identifying any issues or inaccuracies
\n
• Providing feedback to support the ongoing improvement of the AI-enabled process
\n
• Supporting the development of procedures and working practices
\n
• Assisting with the handling of complex requests where required
\n
• Maintaining accurate records and audit trails
\n
• Working closely with operational and technology teams to support effective delivery
\n

Key Skills & Experience As DSAR Specialist:\n

• Previous experience managing Data Subject Access Requests
\n
• Good understanding of data protection requirements
\n
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential information
\n
• Experience within Financial Services
\n
• Experience supporting DSAR policy or process improvements
\n
• Experience reviewing or testing system-generated outputs
\n
• Interest in AI-enabled tools and process improvement
\n
• Exposure to ICO-related complaint handling
\n
• Strong attention to detail
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines
\n
• Strong organisational skills
\n
• Comfortable using technology and learning new systems
