We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a growing manufacturing business that prides itself on producing high-quality fabricated products. As a MIG Welder, you will play a key role in the fabrication and assembly process, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and other materials as required.
  • \n
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication specifications.
  • \n
  • Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning components.
  • \n
  • Produce high-quality welds that meet customer and company quality standards.
  • \n
  • Inspect completed welds and carry out any necessary finishing work.
  • \n
  • Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • \n
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • \n
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to achieve daily production targets.
  • \n
  • Report equipment faults, quality concerns, or production issues to supervisors.
  • \n

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a MIG Welder within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • \n
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques and fabrication processes.

  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
