People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, stable night shifts, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a busy warehouse environment.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an FLT Reach Truck Driver, Reach Truck Operator, FLT Driver, Forklift Truck Driver, Warehouse Operative, or Forklift Truck Operative.

Shifts

• Sunday – Thursday • 22:00 – 06:00

Rates of Pay

• £16.51 - £24.77

Day-to-Day Duties

As an FLT Reach Truck Driver, your duties will include:

• Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently within the warehouse • Carrying out pre-use checks and reporting any defects or faults • Receiving goods into the warehouse and storing pallets in the correct locations • Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods • Unpacking and storing incoming deliveries • Organising stock ready for dispatch • Moving stock around the warehouse as required • Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times • Supporting general warehouse duties where required

Essential Skills

As an FLT Reach Truck Driver, you will need:

• A valid Reach Truck licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited) • Previous experience operating a Reach Truck in a warehouse environment • Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task • Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail • Good organisational skills • A reliable and self-motivated attitude • Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks • The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable Experience

• Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous.

Training Provided

• Full training provided • Assessment required prior to start • Ongoing support throughout your assignment
