Job Title: HR Advisor
\nLocation: Chorley
\nHours: 37.5 per week . On Site
\nReports to: Head of HR
Job Purpose\nDue to continued growth, our client seeks a proactive, engaging and experienced HR Advisor to provide professional, timely and proactive support across the full employee lifecycle. Working with a multi site workforce This includes recruitment and onboarding, performance management, employee relations, engagement, wellbeing, reward, and policy compliance.
\nThis role requires a confident generalist with strong HR knowledge and the ability to adapt quickly within a dynamic environment. You will be comfortable managing a varied workload and offering clear, practical advice to managers and employees in this growing dynamic business
Key ResponsibilitiesDuties & Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide timely advice to managers and employees in line with current employment legislation and internal policies. \n
- Maintain and update accurate employee records, HR systems, internal platforms and benefits information. \n
- Coordinate recruitment activity including drafting role profiles, posting vacancies, liaising with agencies, shortlisting CVs, arranging interviews and supporting hiring managers throughout the process. \n
- Support and deliver onboarding and induction activities for new starters. \n
- Advise managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, attendance and capability cases. \n
- Support the performance review process, including objective setting and monitoring progress. \n
- Contribute to initiatives that strengthen organisational culture, improve engagement and enhance wellbeing, including gathering and analysing employee feedback. \n
- Assist with the coordination of health and safety requirements across the organisation. \n
- Prioritise and manage your workload effectively to meet internal and external deadlines. \n
- Work confidently across a range of systems, software, and digital tools. \n
- Undertake additional duties relevant to the role as needed. \n

- Experience working in a fast-paced , multi site environment. \n
- Knowledge of up-to-date employment law and HR best practice. \n
- Experience managing or supporting disciplinary and grievance processes. \n
- Experience working with confidential and sensitive information. \n

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. \n
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and online platforms, including social media. \n
- Effective organisational skills and ability to prioritise. \n
- Ability to build strong working relationships across the organisation. \n
- High level of accuracy and commitment to high-quality work. \n

- CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent) \n
