Macildowie are working with this client based in Hinckley to recruit an experienced Sales Executive within the apparel and accessories sector.

\n

If you're a commercially minded sales professional with experience in apparel, fashion or merchandise, this is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of business development activity while working with well-known retail customers, licensing partners and music industry clients.

The Role

  • Driving new business growth across retail, music merchandise, touring and licensing markets.
  • \n
  • Building long-term relationships with buyers, merchandisers, licensing partners and key stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Identifying opportunities to expand product ranges and maximise account growth.
  • \n
  • Managing pricing, margins, sales forecasting and overall commercial performance.
  • \n
  • Working closely with design, production and operations teams to deliver projects efficiently.
  • \n
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and consumer behaviour to identify new opportunities.
  • \n
  • Leading customer meetings, presentations and business reviews.
  • \n
  • Managing customer orders, project timelines and critical paths to ensure successful delivery.
  • \n

The ideal candidate:

  • At least two years' experience in business development, sales or account management within apparel, fashion, merchandise or a related industry.
  • \n
  • A proven track record of identifying and converting new business opportunities.
  • \n
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage pricing, margins and sales performance.
  • \n
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • \n
  • The ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.
  • \n
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of music merchandise, licensing, touring or promotional products would be advantageous.
  • \n
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • \n
  • A full UK driving licence.
