NJR Recruitment are delighted to be working with a highly regarded Independent Financial Planning firm in Harrogate who are looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong individual to join a well-established and client-focused business that prides itself on delivering a high level of service and building long-term client relationships.

Working closely with Financial Advisers and the wider support team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of holistic financial planning advice across pensions, investments and protection.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

• Writing detailed and compliant suitability reports
\n
• Conducting technical research and analysis
\n
• Preparing recommendation and review documentation
\n
• Supporting advisers with complex client cases
\n
• Liaising with providers and platforms to progress business
\n
• Assisting with annual reviews and ongoing client servicing
\n
• Ensuring all work meets FCA and internal compliance standards
\n

About You

\n
• Previous experience within a Paraplanning role is essential
\n
• Level 4 Diploma as a minimum, although those with Level 6 qualifications would be of most interest, and will be reflected in additional salary
\n
• Strong experience writing suitability reports
\n
• Good technical understanding of pensions, investments and financial planning products
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
\n
• Professional, personable and team-focused approach
\n
• Ability to manage workloads effectively within a busy environment
\n
