CNC Turner – Edinburgh

Salary: £41,000 – £42,000

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established and growing precision engineering company based in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a forward-thinking manufacturer offering stability and long-term career prospects.

The Role

As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and ideally programming CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components to tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines
\n
• Editing programs at the machine (Fanuc/Siemens experience beneficial)
\n
• Producing precision-machined components to engineering drawings
\n
• Conducting quality checks using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.)
\n
• Ensuring high standards of health & safety and housekeeping
\n
• Working to tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
\n

Requirements

\n
• Proven experience as a CNC Turner
\n
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
\n
• Experience with Fanuc or similar controls
\n
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
