Agency Support Workers Required – Children’s Residential Homes
\nWCB are looking for experienced and flexible Agency Support Workers to support children and young people within residential children’s homes.
\nThe homes support children and young people who may have EBD, learning disabilities, autism, trauma-related needs and challenging behaviours. You will be expected to provide safe, consistent and child-centred support across a variety of settings.
\nPay rate: From £14.85 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay
\nRole includes:
\nSupporting children and young people in residential homes
\nPromoting routines, boundaries and positive relationships
\nSupporting with daily living, activities and emotional wellbeing
\nRecording daily notes, incidents and handovers accurately
\nWorking as part of a team to keep children safe
\nFollowing care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures
\nShifts available:
\nDay shifts
\nLong days
\nSleep-ins
\nWaking nights
\nAd hoc shifts
\nFlexible working available
\nRequirements:
\nExperience working with children and young people
\nExperience with EBD, autism, learning disabilities or challenging behaviour is desirable
\nEnhanced DBS or willing to apply
\nSafeguarding knowledge
\nReliable, flexible and professional
\nDriver preferred but not essential
