Overview

A well-established and friendly Chartered Accountancy firm in Chichester is seeking an Accountant to join their team.

This role offers flexibility and a supportive environment. After settling in, there may be potential for working from home.

Salary depends on experience and qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Duties (not limited to)

• Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
\n
• Bookkeeping for a range of clients
\n
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
\n
• Assist with client queries and provide excellent service
\n
• Support senior staff with ad-hoc tasks and compliance work
\n

What we're looking for

A successful candidate for this role will have some good prior UK practice experience to be able to self-manage and jump in with little training. You must live within a 1hr commute of the Chichester area.
