Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP)

Vivid Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join the team at One Recovery Bucks, Aylesbury, providing essential summer rota cover for approximately 12 weeks.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NMP looking for a rewarding temporary role within a supportive recovery service, helping to deliver high-quality care and improve outcomes for individuals accessing addiction and recovery support.

• Undertake comprehensive assessments and reviews of service users
\n
• Safely prescribe within your scope of practice and professional competence
\n
• Support the management of substance misuse and recovery treatment plans
\n
• Review medication effectiveness, risks, and ongoing clinical needs
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with relevant policies and guidelines
\n
• Provide safe, evidence-based interventions to support recovery pathways
\n

• Registered healthcare professional with current NMP qualification
\n
• Active professional registration (e.g. NMC, HCPC or relevant regulatory body)
\n
• Previous experience working within substance misuse, addiction services, mental health, or a related clinical setting
\n
• Strong clinical assessment and prescribing skills
\n
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a wider team
\n
